LIVE on BM Pay Dinau buk — tupela i lukim wankain namba

Dinau that both sides agree on.

Dinau Buk is the shared book for book-up and small loans. Lend to a wantok or let a customer book up at the store, and the amount, the date and every repayment sit in one record both of you can see — with online repayment through BSP Pay.

Sign in with your PNG phone number — a one-time code is sent by SMS. No password, no app store. Lenders and borrowers see the same record from their own phones.

What it does

Trust is easier when the numbers match.

Book-up

Store book-up, without the exercise book

A trade store records what a customer takes on credit; the customer sees it on their phone and repays in person or online.

Loans

Small loans between people

Lend to a wantok with an amount and a due date. Both sides confirm, and the record cannot be quietly changed by either.

Repay

Repay through BSP Pay

Repay from a BSP account or the BM wallet; the balance updates for both sides the moment the payment settles.

Lenders

Listed lenders

People who lend regularly can list themselves so borrowers know the terms up front. Nambawan lenders earn BM rewards.

Everywhere

Inside the other BM apps

Dinau Buk is built into Konekt, WanBung, Rentim and Bisnis Stoa, so a voucher, pledge, rent or shop credit can be recorded as dinau in one tap.

History

A record that lasts

Every entry and repayment is kept with who did it and when — useful when memories differ.

How it works

Recording and repaying a dinau.

Only the two parties can see a dinau. Balances and due dates are kept on the server; repayments through BM Pay settle exactly once.

  1. 1Lender records the dinau — amount, borrower's phone number, due date
  2. 2Borrower gets an SMS and confirms it in the app
  3. 3Repay in cash (the lender records it) or online through BSP Pay
  4. 4Both sides see the balance fall to zero; the history stays
Built on the BM rails

Built on the BM rails.

Dinau Buk is live on BM ID and BM Pay. It is a record and a payment channel, not a lender: BM does not lend money in Dinau Buk.

  • Blockchain Melanesia holds a Bank of Papua New Guinea e-money licence — money in the app is regulated stored value.
  • Payments run through BM Pay on BSP Pay: CIF and mobile OTP, no card details typed into a phone.
  • A dinau is only valid once both parties have confirmed it; changes are recorded, never silent.
  • Online repayments settle exactly once against the record — no double counting.
  • Your phone number is your ID: one-time SMS codes, no passwords, the same BM ID in every BM app.
Questions

Askim na bekim

The things people ask before they try it.

Does BM lend the money?

No. Dinau Buk records and settles dinau between people and stores. The lender is always the person or store you deal with.

What does it cost?

Recording a dinau is free. Online repayments carry the small BM Pay fee shown before you pay; cash repayments cost nothing.

Can a store use it for all its customers?

Yes — Bisnis Stoa stores use Dinau Buk as their book-up ledger, and any store can use it on its own.

What if the other person disputes it?

Both sides confirmed it when it was created, and every change is in the history. That record is the point.
